Going, going, gone...

Yes, as you probably know the holidays are over and back to school and work we go, writing this makes me feel quite unhappy, though I'm sure many of you are enjoying being back at work...
but I am part of that 70% of people who aren't happy to be back.

Time flies through the holidays but i did manage to enjoy myself. I got to see the Hunger Games movie with a friend :) Good movie, but I'd rate it a 4/5. It's got that thrill that makes you wanna know what happens next and has you at the edge of your seat or at times your heart is pounding from excitement then the next moment you feel heartbroken and sad.

At times when I got to bored, I went over to spend quality time with Grandma and we ended up doing some painting. Lately many different birds have been sitting on Grandma's fence chirping loudly so Gramps decided to give them some food. First he gave them some bread but they refused, so he got some spare mince out of the fridge and chucked pieces at them. They gobbled them down in one go. Some days later Grandma goes of to the bookstore to get a bird book on all the different breeds. So she sat me down and we had a flick through the book looking at all the birds and their fascinating colours.

We discovered one of the birds that hang on the fence was called a Sprangled Drongo. Sounds more like a bongo if you ask me but anyway I sat down that afternoon and painted some birds I found in the book and the result of them are shown below:

Red-Capped Parrot

Scarlet Honey-eater

Cockatiel

Well that's mostly my holiday, what did you get up to? Comment Below! I would love to hear your great tales and adventures :)

How To Draw Poe From The Teletubbies

Hi guy's and I'm back from my holidays to present to you a how to! And on the drawing menu today is Poe from the Teletubbies. Hope you enjoy!

What you will need:
-Pencil or pacer (whatever you prefer)
-A4 sheet of paper
-Rubber
-Coloured pencils
-An artistic mind

Step 1. Draw a circle for its head.

Step 2. Leading out from the bottom of the head draw two rectangular arms in any position you like, but today i have chosen the waving stance. (shown below) Below the arms draw a bulging line going downwards to shown the stomach and end with two rectangular legs.

Step 3. On the sides of the head draw two pointed ears. (shown below)

Step 4. Now is the time to draw Poe's antenna. First draw a short stem with a small circle on top.

Step 5. Here is a good time to rub out any unwanted lines.

Step 6. On the tips of the rectangular arms draw circular hands with little thumbs pointing inwards. And rub out any unwanted lines.

Step 7. Let's head on down to the feet! OK, on the bottoms of the rectangular legs draw rounded feet with flat bottoms.

Step 8. Now you can add in Poe's "Teletummy" and the outline of his face.

Step 9. To add in the face you draw two semi-circle's for the eyes and add a curved line above each to act out as the eyelids. For the nose you draw in a line curving upwards just below the eyes and for the mouth you do the same except turn the line upside down.

Step 10. Go free and colour, colour, colour!
