Easter Holidays!

Hey guy's, guess what! Yeah you guessed it (I hope you did...) over hear its nearing Easter so it's holiday time! It's the most best time of the year, well except for Christmas... but since school is coming to an end, it's time for more relaxation :) But hey Easter, can you believe it? it's amazing how fast the year is going by. It'll be 2013 in a flash... (unless that 2012 disaster doesn't get us first) These holidays are only gonna go on for 2 weeks, so I've gotta make it last, right? I’ve got a few things on my list to do when the holidays comes which are;

1.      Completely move into new house...
2.      Be a playmate with the baby cousins...
3.      Finally get to sit down, relax and finish reading that book
4.      And then on the finally day, I get to celebrate my birthday with the Great ChantelleLikesArt haha, and of course other friends and family!
5.       Oh yeah, can’t forget the chocolate!

The book is called Advent, a great sci-fi mystery story, with
the touch of magic. Anyway, i recommend this book to anyone who enjoys these genres. ----------------------------->

What will you be doing on your holidays, or when will they start? Are you looking forward to them? Please comment your answers below :)

How To Draw Portrait Of An Anime School Girl

Hey guy's and yes you've guessed it I'm back :) and today I am gonna show you how to draw a portrait of an anime school girl!

What you will need:
-Pencil or pacer (whatever you prefer)
-A4 sheet of paper
-Rubber
-Coloured pencils
-An artistic mind

Step 1. Start by drawing a basic outline of the bottom half of the face, making your way to draw the neck and shoulders (shown below)

Step 2. Next you draw the collar by starting at the back off the neck then draw a line (each side) going across the shoulder then coming diagonally in and back out again, like a lightning bolt. After you have finished on both sides join them together and then for another touch you can add a singlet, underneath.

Step 3. Now is the time to draw in the clothes!Well since this is a portrait I'm only going as far as the shirt... Okay, starting at the top of the collar draw down and out to make the creases in the sleeves (shown below) next to the sleeves create a curved line going down beneath the collar to form the outline of the girls shirt. For extra effect's you can add in more crease like shown below.

Step 4. Time for the eye's! Draw two fairly big ovals about two fingers apart. For the outline of the eye you must draw a thick curved line going above each of the eye's.

Step 5. Above those dark curved lines draw a smaller, lighter line to create the eyelid. To create the insides of the eye's add a small circle at the bottom of the eye to create the iris and smaller circles at either ends of the eye to create the highlight. After you have down this you can draw in the nose and mouth.
If you want you can add in accessories like a bow as I have shown below!

Step 6. Draw in any kind of hairstyle you want but today I have gone with the common straight haired girl, but feel free to experiment!

Step 7. Now you can add in the shadows of the clothes and the colour in the pupils in the eye's, oh and wait you can't forget the eyebrows!

How To Draw A Realistic Eye

Hey there everyone and I'm back with another How to :) and today I am gonna show you how to draw a realistic eye!

What you will need:
-Pencil or pacer (whatever you prefer)
-A4 sheet of paper
-Rubber
-Coloured pencils
-An artistic mind
Step 1. Draw a small circle.

Step 2. Right underneath the circle you must draw a curved line.

Step 3. At either end of the curved line (preferably right side) draw a little lump coming off (shown below) and then draw a connecting line to the upper circle.

Step 4. Draw a line going through the upper circle to connect with the other end of the curved line.

Step 5. Rub out the top of the circle and darken the top curved line.

Step 6. In the middle of the circle (well now your iris) draw a large dot and colour in.

Step 7. Now is the time to add in the highlights and colour in the iris! To colour in the iris you start by colour closest to the pupil darkly then come lighter when going out. (shown below)

Step 8. Thicken and darken the outskirts of the iris. Below the bottom line add another small curvy line and have small lines coming out it too.

Step 9.  Time for the eyelashes! Now thicken the top curvy line even more while making thick lines coming out it. On the small curvy line also draw small lines coming out it.

Step 10. Now the eye is finally done! You can add in more features like the upper eyelid and eyebrows (shown below) or other accessories like piercings or make-up, Now the time to let your imagination run wild!

On The Move Again~

Lately my family and I have been recently packing; tidying and cleaning out cause once again were on the move. By when I say move, I mean moving houses of course… and when you are packing up all your stuff it’s amazing that you can find all those long lost things. It’s lovely when you get to sit back and remember bits of your childhood, right? Ahhh… oh right, stay on topic! It’s also great when you get to have a flick back on all those photo albums and the embarrassing photo’s of yourself when you were little.

When packing up it makes feel a tiny bit sad and feel kinda empty when look at those bear walls, but also quite happy when I notice that I have founds things I lost a long time ago that were precious to me. And sometimes secretly I go and have a big dress up party with myself… by dressing up in all those clothes and jewellery I find lying there, fun times.

Have you ever moved houses? If you have, do you find it personally fun; like you’re beginning a new adventure, or do you find it a little bit sad? You can answer in the comments below!

Trip to the beach~

Hey guy’s today I’m going to tell you my experience at the beach yesterday at the beach. Well recently we have been taking care of my mom’s friend’s dog, BJ. BJ is a long haired white Maltese, cute in some ways… well to get out of the house and get some exercise for us and the dog my family and I decided to head on down to Currimundi park (the part that allows dogs.)

Since BJ is a an old and a bit of a lazy dog he didn’t play much so most of the time we sat down and relaxed in the shade where no sun could hit us. In the surf there were a couple of windsurfers flying in the air; most were pretty good at what they were doing! A couple of times BJ jumped into the surf and had a paddle (well if you could call it a paddle) and by the end he was completely soaked.

So on the car drive home we had to completely wrap BJ up in towels. Most of the way home BJ was shaking, but I wasn’t sure if it was because he was cold or because he was so excited in being in a car for soo long! And the fact the BJ was completely still wet (even with towels) and was beginning to smell didn’t make matters much better… But overall it was a splendid day out with the family and dog, and I was very much happy :)

How to draw Spongebob!

Today guys and girls! I'm going to show you step by step on how to draw everyone's favourite fun loving cheerful sponge, Spongebob! I ran out of ideas of what to draw next, so thats when my friend mentioned Spongebob, so here i am today drawing spongebob...

Okay lets get started! And Enjoy! :)

Things you will need:
-Pencil or Pacer
-Rubber
-A4 sheet of paper
-An artistic mind! :)

Step 1. First you draw a fairly large rectangular

Step 2. You draw lines coming slightly inward on the corners of the right side rectangle and join together to make the square look more 3D.

Step 3. Now lets give him some pants, shall we. Draw a line about half a third along the bottom of rectangle (as shown below)

Step 4. To finish off the pants you add triangular like rectangles on the bottom of you pants. Then draw a skinny leg coming from the bottom middle of those rectangles and draw a circle at the bottom.

Step 5. Now's the time to add in the arms! Ok first you draw circular rectangles which will act as his sleeve and draw a long skinny arm coming down to his pants and end with a circle.

Step 6. We can't have him going shirtless so...lets add a shirt! About 1-2cm above the pants draw a line that goes around his body. Once done you can add in collar and necktie.

Step 7. Let's give him a hand (no joke intended) and you can add his belt onto his pants and draw him some shoes and socks (shown below)

Step 8. Since Spongebob is a sponge lets draw some bumps along the outline.

Step 9. Wait hang on what are we missing...ah, right the face! So now lets give him some nice big circular eyes, a long round-tipped nose and a cheesy grin.

Step 10. Draw in some eyes inside the big circles and add some rectangular shaped eyelashes at the top of the round circle. Once done you can add the buck teeth on Spongebob's mouth.

Step 11. Once you have completed all the other steps and you are happy, you can go onto adding some more features like; the holes in his sponge body, the bulgy checks and you can't forget that cute bottom lip!

Step 12. Now that you are done you can go ahead and colour all you want!
